" REAL ESTATE MARKET.....,.,r But little of interest lias transpired in tlio real estate market, since our last, and the only thinf to be said is that prices arc quite firm with but few transactions re¬ ported. . Money is quoted as being.easier.on bond and mortgages, and the Shyioclts who have lately had such good fat pickings have to be content with less dainty dishes than those lately served up in the shape of 5 to 7 per cent, of bonuses for good mortgages on city property. There is a large amount of surplus capit.il now seeking good investments in real estate, and anything now. otfered in the shape of a good ha-gain finds ready sale. Suburban property is still quite active, and quite a number of sales came otf this week. Ar Boscobel, on the Hudson, Messrs. Johnson & Miller had a highly satisfactory sale. Tho at¬ tendance was large, .ind formed of a moi-o wealthy class than usually attend out-of-town sales. Tho amount dis¬ posed of realized §0:3.292.50. At Madison, N. J., Messrs. A. D. Mellick, Jr. & Bro. had a fine sale. A large number of local buyers attended, and matters were conducted in a spirited manner, and everything passed otf delightfully. ■ [official.] PROCEEDINGS OF THE.COMMON COUNCIL AFFECTING REAL ESTATE. ■• .* IN BOARD OF ALDEiaOSN, > WHDNESIJAY, October 13,.1869. ) CIIEYSTIB STREKT.
