Real Estate Record AND BUILDERS' GUIDE. NEW YOEK, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 1873. No. 287 Vol. XII. Published Weekly by THE REAL ESTATE mm ASSOCIATION. TERMS. One year, in advance......................$6 00 All communications should^be addressed to Whiting BuinniNO, 345 .\nd 347 Broadway. SPECIAL NOTICE. The attention of business men and capitalists is called to the advertisement in another column of an important sale by Col. James M. Miller, nnder the direction of Geo. A. Kelsey, referee, to take place at the Exchange Salesroom, 111 Broadway, on Friday next, the mth inst., of the large double house (brisk), with grounds around it, situated between Broadway and Fourth Avenue. No better location for a theatre, a club house, or concert hall can be found in the city of New Tork. Its commanding and central position, in the immediate vicinity of Union and Madison squares, must necessarily insure a large atteudance at the sale, whicli will take place punctually at the day and h«ur named. THE EMPIRE CITY LOT BOOK. We commend to the attention of real estate brokers and property owners a new Lot Book of New York, from Forty-second Street to Spuyten Duyvil, embracing the East as well as the "West side of the city. This book con¬ tains seventy-one lithographed maps, and sup¬ plies a need which has long existed. It is laid out upon a large scale, and is available as a sales-book upon which lots or houses can be ' cated in a moment. The work is beautifully executed, includes the most recent improve¬ ments, and no expense seems to have been spared to produce an offlce-book of the utmost utility for all who are interested in real estate. The price is very moderate, many brokers having expended large sums for books that are not nearly as valuable. The Lot Book is published by J. B. Wallace and T. Shillingtou, of 117 Broadway, and we cordially endorse its claims to the attention and patronage of real estate men generally. MECHANICS'LIENS. NE'W YORK. Sept. 5 Ann st., s. w. coh.
